First of all I would like to give my best wishes to :icondamienmildury: who at the moment is in the middle of the floods that hit Cumbria.

Fortunatily his town Maryport wasen't flooded, however the nearby towns of Cockermouth and Workington were and several roads had to be closed off, cutting off the town from the rest of Cumbria it seems. All in all it just shows how unprepared this country is to natual disasters. He can't even contact a family member who had their home flooded out, due to the fact the very limited communications are being used! This just continues to prove my point! The poor defenses cost a poor police officer his life when he saved a lot of people from crossing an unstable bridge, which then collasped whilest he was on it!

Rest in peace, PC Bill Barker, you were indeed a hero and will be sadily missed by those who knew you!

My best wishes goes to :icondamienmildury: and his family during his difficult and chaotic peroid, which could not have come at a worst time, both personally and professionally! I won't go into too much detail, but he and I had a bit of a dis-agreement recentily, but we both put that behind us now and just when things started to look like they were getting back on track this happens! Once again I do wish the best of luck to :icondamienmildury: and hopes that all these terrible events ends soon. It has been a rough few years for Space Gypsy, and I hope the new decade looks promising for the franchise.

Speaking of which and this is more plesent news, the reason why things have been quiet on the fanfiction writing front is that I have been busy working on a new Durel Knights fanfiction, however this is quite different from the current story I've been writing, of which I'll explan more later. The story itself however is nearing it's completion, I just got to wrap it all up. I even wrote lyrics for an ending song for this piece. This week however I will be a bit busy, so I don't know when it will get posted, but I'll try and do what I can as I want this new story up before Christmas this year and I'll post a Journal entry explaining more about it too.

Boy this time of year is always quite stressfull for yours truily, I don't see how I'm ever going to get a PSP for myself at this rate!
